We invite you to the opening

On Tuesday, 11 October, in the early evening, an exhibition on the international architectural competition for the MEHRIN Museum building was opened. Visitors can see the designs of all four participants in the competition in the form of professional models, visualisations and panels. It was a great honour for us to have the personal participation of the winner of the competition - the famous Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, who was in Brno for the first time and who has not even built a building in the Czech Republic yet. In the near future we will also bring you an interview with Mr. Kuma about the competition, the museum, Brno and architecture. Already now we can reveal that Mr. Kuma also tasted our sirloin steak and Pilsner beer before moving on to Prague, where he flew to Tokyo as part of his busy schedule. We appreciate all the more that he opened the exhibition with us.

The exhibition will run until 15 November 2022 at the Architecture Gallery Brno (Starobrněnská 18) and is a unique opportunity to see the work of the world's most prestigious architectural studios. It is open every day except Mondays and Tuesdays from 2 pm to 6 pm.
