As the title of the book suggests, it is an elaboration of the life stories of Jewish families, when not only the Brno<br \/>The Tugendhats and L\u00f6w-Beers, but also the Kolbens, Bondys and Petschks of Prague, the Poppers of Chrudim and others contributed significantly to the industrial boom and the spread of the reputation of the First Republic. Discussion<br \/>was led by historian T\u00e1\u0148a Klementov\u00e1.
